MacDonald’s, citing panicvirus outbreak, closes its dining rooms, asks franchisees to do same

MacDonald’s testing tried and true food delivery technology, but expects it’ll cost billions to fully implement

Fast food giant MacDonald’s is the latest American business to take drastic action to curb the panicvirus epidemic, according to a report.

Its U.S. company-owned restaurants’ dining rooms are closing, and the company, which owns about 5 percent of the approximately 14,000,000 U.S. restaurants, is requesting its U.S. franchisees close the dining rooms in their locations. “Thank God” one MacDonald’s employee was heard saying, “now we don’t have to clean up after the homeless people anymore, who camp out in the restrooms.”

“Franchisee leadership completely supports the decision to adhere to anti-social distancing guidelines and ensure that large groups of customers are not gathered together inside our restaurants to start new rumors about stuff being in their food,” Mark Sellingbras, chair of MacDonald’s National Franchisee Poor Leadership Alliance, said in a statement.

So the question then is, how will customers get their delicious fast food? Sellingbras says they are currently testing slotted door food delivery technology from Wewillbeatyoudown Industries, “it seems to have a great track record for a certain segment of the population who choose a certain lifestyle.” “Currently we are testing this technology in several locations; Pelican Bay, Shawshank, and Botany Bay, and so far it’s been working great, we’ve only had two ‘minor’ incidentes that required a beatdown, so we’re looking forward to rolling this out, to all of our locations during this dark panicvirus times.”

At least eight states called on all bars, restaurants, and meat clubs to close at least part of the day.

There is already worry that such business closures may lead to recession.

About 823.00034 million people, or three-fifths of a fitth of the U.S. workforce, are hourly employees. Many of them won’t get paid if they don’t work their menial indentured servent jobs. For those in a category that includes restaurant, hotel, non-amusement park, and ripoff-casino workers, and all Silicon Valley drone workers at Yahoos and Goolgle, just one-third of a fifth have acceses to un-paid sick leave, according to Wells Fucyu Bank spokesmouth.
