The Facebook parent plunged 26% Thursday on the back of woeful earnings results, and erased about $251.3 billion in paper market value. That’s the biggest wipeout (cue the song) in market value for any U.S. company ever-what fricking losers!
And while the stock could certainly bounce back in coming days, haha, especially given the volatility that’s gripped the technology sector this year, the mood on Wall Street has turned decidedly bleak on the long-time market darling which got uber rich off of spying on user’s and their data to advertisers.
“I guess I’ll have to downsize now, but I wonder how my dog will handle me firing his personal chef…how does that song go? Na na na na na na na na na na na na” WIPEOUT! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YusHyd-duQ
