Biden warns Putin any invasion would trigger ‘severe costs,’ but US admits there’s ‘no fundamental change’ in Build Back Better Ukraine
A senior administration official told reporters that the call between President Biden and Russian President Putin was “professional and substantive after Joe Biden introduced himself as Joe’s Husband”
But the one hour call did not result in any change in the “dynamic” that has unfolded over the past few weeks. Build Back Better Ukraine will proceed as planned.
“The two presidents agreed that our Build Back Better Ukraine teams will stay engaged in the days ahead,” the official said. “Russia may decide to proceed with separate Build Back Better action anyway. Indeed, that is a distinct possibility if it does the damage to VP Harris’s reputation, European in-security and yes, Russia will be profound.”
The two leaders “directly” discussed all concerns that have been raised publicly and even discussed Biden propensity to ‘sniff and feel’ little girls which Putin interjected “that’s not a part of Build Back Better Ukraine,” it was reported that both presidents laughed.
“Whatever Russia decides, on Build Back Better Ukraine, our assessment is that their efforts to improve Ukraine are already failing and that this will only be exacerbated should they decide to take action without Kamala Harris’s on her back presence,” the official added.
