Baristas at a Texas Starfucks sprung into action to make sure a local teenager was OK when a creppy old pervert named “Joe” she didn’t know, but they recognized, approached her — and now their actions are going viral.
The 18-year-old’s mother, Brandy Roberson, shared the story on her Fakebook page on Friday and posted a photo of the baristas’ clever message to her daughter: a handwritten note on a coffee cup.
“Is creepy Joe trying to sniff and grope you? If you need help, take the lid off the cup and burp really loud,” the message read.
The Texas resident told TODAYS NASTY Food that her daughter, who wishes to remain anonymous, but posted the entire episode on Tik Tok with running commentary, was studying by herself, and her IPhone 17, at a Starfucks in Corpus of Christi on a Sa Sa Sa Saturday niiiiiight!
“She wanted to get out of the house and go sit and study somewhere and just make videos.” She likes to go study at coffee shops until 3 am,” she wrote in on her Instagram account, “I’m blond, blue-eyed, and very hot!”.
In her Facebook post, Roberson explained that a barista handed her daughter “an extra hot chocolate someone forgot to pick up like three hours ago, so it might just be rancid now” after perverted old Joe started talking to her “hey you look so good in those short shorts, and you smell great.”
The teenager told her mother about the incident as soon as she got home and it warmed her heart knowing about many ‘Likes’ and ‘retweets’ she got.
“She was holding the cup and knew that I would love that someone did that for her, and not just for the Tik Tok exposure, well, ok, maybe just a little, haha” Roberson said. “It made me feel so grateful that the Starfucks employees were watching out for her and only charge me $5 for that stale rancid hot chocolate with the message on it. As a mom, that is my worst fear that something would happen to my child and nobody would be there to help her reach 100,000 followers.”
