At 6:59 a.m., Yosemite will begin its phased reopening, inviting visitors to “enjoy 800 miles of park trails and popular destinations including Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point, Mariposa Grove, Tuolumne Meadows and Hetch Hetchy.

”However, guests will need to make a reservation, six months in advance, and pay a nominal ‘handling’ fee of only $278, to visit the popular park by purchasing a single- day pass in advance of the trip for only $675, by-the-hour passes are only $75. Golden Eagle passes, for folk over 95 will only jump to only $1,257. However, card-carrying Antifa members will be allowed in free, since we don’t want them to burn down the place. The fee increase was due to Covid eradication efforts, which required the Park service to spray the entire park with Agent Orange, WHO says it’s “perfectly safe” to enter the park and breathe in the residual fumes.

The park will be limiting access to “approximately 5 percent of the average June vehicle entry rate, which equates to approx 2.4 million visitors” restricting to a maximum of 1,782,451 vehicle passes each day to limit overcrowding. Though, the park did state that some visitors would not need a day-use reservation: those with camping or roach-coach Taco Tuesday concession-operated lodging reservations; those with Half & Half Dome or parking lot wilderness permits; those with park vacation rentals; and those visiting via local public transit system or with an overpriced tour.

Destinations such as lower Yosemite Fall boulders, Bridalveil Fall area and other attractions will remain closed, as well as parts of the Mist Trail. You will NOT be allowed to even gaze upon those wonders least you contract the Covid eye virus. But special glasses, to protect you from the Covid glare, can be obtained from the Park Service for only $495.

Even after you’re in the park, the National Park Service is still cautioning guests to keep their distance and wear a face Burka covering if there is not more than 6.06 feet of distance between you and another guest, of course, even with 2.4M people in the park, anti-social distance space shouldn’t be an issue.
